Suppose I have 3 links from the same page:

-link #1 pointing to http://www.domain.com/index.php?action=anyaction
-link #2 pointing to http://www.domain.com/index.php
-link #3 pointing to http://www.domain.com

If link #1 is nofollow, will #2 and #3 still be considered? I guess #3 would be but what about #2?

So the conclusion is that the destination link doesnt rank for the anchor text of links #2 and #3 since link #1 is nofollow?

Have you ever tried to nofollow link #2 to see if link #1 would still be considered?

Also interesting to note that it is 1 year later, and still the only pages to rank for phrases #2 or #3 are ones that actually have the phrase in the onpage text.

I didn’t complete the first one on time because I had never seen it before and it took a moment to figure out what to do. I did solve the second one. I know lots of people who could make intelligent comments who might have difficulty in completing it in 30 seconds.
